About The Urban Sherpa
"I don't care what is written about me, so long as it isn't true."—Dorothy Parker

Looking at this blog for the first time, a friend of mine finally said: "It's a lot of words."
He's got a point: there are a lot of words. (At the time of this writing, about 107,000.) It might be a bit overwhelming.1
Since every single one of those words is about me, it seems more than a little self-indulgent now to create a whole separate page, About The Urban Sherpa. Aren't they all about The Urban Sherpa?
I wrote an earlier version of this page, trying to explain the genesis of this blog, and its intention; but, well ... it was pretentious and not too enlightening, and in that regard, probably not too different from this new version.
My name's Chris. Sometimes I see things and I like to write about them. This is where I do it. Any questions?
There. See how easy that was?
Thanks for visiting.

1. Luckily, I've gotten in the habit of auto-summarizing the whole blog periodically, so if you like, you can read the 100 word version of the entire blog. I think this one is pretty accurate...
