The Urban Sherpa is, first of all, an experiment. It started several years ago as a travelogue, by an author who didn't much travel—so it aspired to chronicle the most pedestrian journeys of our day-to-day lives, and to try and find in them as much joy, meaning, and sublimity as could be found: substance in the serendipities.

As one might expect, the subjects began to wander, to include media, politics, love. Short stories started popping up, and aphorisms, and a sort of glossary of quirky terms.

The goal, though, hasn't changed: The Urban Sherpa intends to help its author to see the wonders of the world, and to feel those wonders, and to share them.
