The Urban Sherpa keeps a collection of stories and curios filed under Mythic Proportions.
Formative Years
It's hard to remember that time before there were blogs, when we all still had the same private, self-indulgent thoughts, but had no easy avenue to publish them. Thank God for forward progress!
While packing, I stumbled on some writing I'd done a while back, and found out that, before blogs, I was doing more or less exactly what I'm doing now—vague, ambiguous, neo-romantic writing that I never could turn into anything.
Thanks to the miracles of OCR software, I am able to present some of this ur-blog to you today, in its original, unedited form. A blog within a blog; fifteen entries for the price of one—The Urban Sherpa: The Formative Years.
